BluFloc A-8525 Description:   

  1. We are counted among the reputed organizations that are engaged in manufacturing and exporting high-quality Polyacrylamide. Offered compounds are formulated by cross-linking acrylamide subunits. This chemical should be handled with caution as it contains small amounts of toxic materials. We precisely formulate these chemicals using modern equipment as these are demanded by various industries. Polyacrylamide is a water-absorbent material, therefore used in manufacturing paper and contact lenses.

  2. PHPA A-8525 for drilling is a water-soluble polymer formed from acrylamide (a compound with the molecular formula C3H5NO) subunits for the oil drilling field as additive with Bentonite mud.
  3. It has a big range of high molecular weight from 20-25 million, with an anionic charge density ranging from 40-50%.
  4. Mainly used for various industrial wastewater flocculation sedimentation, sedimentation and clarification treatment, such as iron and steel plant wastewater, electroplating wastewater, wastewater metallurgy, coal washing wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering. Can also be used to clarify and drinking water purification treatment, and sugar & juice mills.
  5. Soluble in water, safe, non-toxic, hydrolytic stability, is not sensitive to the change of pH value, anti-chlorine. Harmless, no-flammable and non-explosive, it can be stored at room temperature, it cannot be placed in the sun. It is slightly acidic, when skin contact, wash immediately with plenty of water.

BluFloc A-8525 Functional Principle

Flocculation Mechanism:

Adsorbing suspension particles, polymer chains entangle and cross-link each other to form bridging, and make flocculation structure enlarge and thicken, and has the functions of surface adsorption and electric neutralization.

Reinforcing Mechanism:

PAM molecule chain and dispersed phase form bridging bond, ion bond and covalent bond to increase combination strength.

 

BluFloc A-8525 Application Methods:

1

Dissolving 

concentration:

Polyelectrolyte/flocculant A-8525 should be standardly be dissolved to 0.1-0.5% concentration.

Dissolving 

time:

The time required to dissolve the flocculant varies according to the type of flocculant, water quality, temperature and agitation. However, most flocculants generally require around 1 hour of agitation to completely dissolve the powder. Incomplete mixture of flocculant or lumping may inhibit the performance of the flocculant.

Application 

and Dosage:

The dosage range of varies from 1 - 3.0 ppm depending upon the type of effluent and application. Advised to do jar tests for evaluating the functioning and approximate dosage.

Jar Test: 

Put sample of effluent in a beaker and add it as designated, agitate for 1 minute at 100-120 rpm and then slowly agitate at 60rpm. Determine the flocs properly at this time and note the sedimentation and clarity of top solution.

 

BluFloc A-8525 Package and Storage:

  • Packed in Kraft or PE bags with inner plastic bags, with each bag containing 25kgs, or 750kgs net big bag.
  • Stored in original packaging in cool and dry place, away from sources of heat, flame and direct sunlight.
