What's PAC flocculating Agent?
PAC (Polyaluminium Chloride) is a type of flocculating agent that is commonly used in water treatment processes. When added to water, PAC undergoes hydrolysis to form positively charged polynuclear aluminum ions. These ions attract and neutralize negatively charged particles in the water, causing them to clump together and form larger particles called flocs. The flocs can then be removed from the water by settling or filtration.
PAC is an effective flocculating agent due to its high charge density and large molecular size. It can remove a wide range of impurities from water, including organic matter, suspended solids, and some heavy metals. Additionally, PAC is versatile, as it can function over a wide range of pH values.
PAC flocculating agent is commonly used in drinking water and wastewater treatment, as well as in industrial processes such as papermaking. It is a highly effective and efficient way to improve water quality by removing impurities and producing clearer and cleaner water.
Product and Description
Polyaluminium chloride PAC-02 is a high-efficient, cheap, and nontoxic inorganic high molecular compound that is mainly used for drinking water treatment applications. It's easily soluble in water in a short time. The hydrolytic process is accompanied by the chemical processes such as electrochemistry, coagulation, absorption, and precipitation. The product has features including a wide applicable range of PH values, large flocs, and quick speed in sedimentation. It's widely used in treating domestic drinking water.
Product Performance: light yellow powder
Product Advantages
A rapid deposition is facilitated by its flocculation ability, high adsorption activity, floc formation, and fast deposition.
Its broad pH adaptability, ease of use, and lack of alkali or additives make it a good choice for low-temperature, low-turbidity, and low-alkalinity raw water with good flocculation performance.
It is easy to use and highly effective, with minimal water insoluble that do not cause pipe blockage.
It is cost-effective and highly efficient, particularly in purifying heavily organic polluted raw water with low temperature, low turbidity, and lower treatment costs compared to other organic flocculants.
Its flocculation ability results in the quick formation of large flocculant particles that rapidly precipitate, increasing the service life of cellular filters in sedimentation basins.
With its broad pH adaptability, it can effectively reduce the pH value and basicity of processed water while accommodating a wide pH range of 5-9.
It requires a smaller dosage compared to other flocculants and has a wide adaptability to waters at different temperatures and regions.
It has higher basicity and lower corrosive properties, making it easy to operate and suitable for long-term use without blockage.

Storage
The products shall be sealed and stored in a dry and ventilated place to prevent rain, high temperature, and strong sunlight.
Application method
1)The liquid product can be used directly or used after dilution. Dilution is necessary before used for the solid product. The normal dilution ratio for the solid product is 5%-15%.
2)The specific dosage is based on the flocculation tests and trials by the users. The usual dosage of the liquid product is 3-40 g/ton, and of the solid product, 1-15 g/ton.
