Polydadmac is a high-charge cationic polymer for potable water treatment. In municipal water treatment operations it neutralizes negatively charged colloids and produces compact flocs for clear settled water and longer filter runs. The portfolio includes liquid and powder grades to suit different make-up systems and dosing equipment.
Strong positive charges destabilize colloids and form dense, fast-settling flocs that improve clarification and filtration.
Use as a primary coagulant or combine with polyaluminum programs when enhanced coagulation is needed for color or NOM control.
Liquid Series (representative viscosity bands at 25°C) | |||
---|---|---|---|
Band | Typical viscosity | Solids | Notes |
Low | <200 cps | ~20–50% | Fast dispersion, quick charge neutralization |
