Egypt’s textile and paper sectors are major water consumers and wastewater producers. Much of the industrial effluent ends up in the Nile or irrigation canals, where color and organics pose long-term risks to agriculture and human health.
Efficient at removing color from dyehouses and paperboard mills.
Reduces turbidity and improves sedimentation before reuse or discharge.
Works well with PAC or alum in traditional Egyptian ETPs.
No heavy metals or chloride, ideal for reuse in irrigation.
Supports compliance with EEAA and Nile Basin water protection policies.
Colored wastewater from Nile-adjacent industries threatens irrigation and aquatic life.
High color removal from paperboard and dye plants.
Effective at Nile water reuse standards.
Aluminum/chlorine-free.
Supports national green manufacturing targets.
Description:
BWD-01 is a high-performance quaternary cationic polymer designed for efficient color removal, flocculation, and COD reduction in various industrial wastewater streams. It is widely used to treat dyestuff-laden wastewater, especially from textile, dyeing, ink, and paper industries. It works effectively with reactive, acid, disperse, direct dyes, and both soluble and insoluble colorants.
High decolorization efficiency: 50%–99% color removal.
COD reduction: Decreases COD by 50%–80%.
Wide application range: Suitable for textile, pigment, paper, ink, sugar, and coking wastewater.
Excellent flocculation & sedimentation speed.
Low sludge production: Generates less sludge than traditional inorganic coagulants.
Non-toxic and non-polluting: Free of aluminum, chlorine, and heavy metals.
Acts as a retention agent in the paper and pulp manufacturing process.
Wastewater from:
Textile & dyeing industries
Pigment & ink manufacturing
Paper & pulp mills
Garbage leachate & coking plants
Wood processing & fiber bleaching
Sugar production & animal farming
Useful in paper retention systems as a process additive.
