Blufloc CPAM is a dry cationic polyacrylamide for conditioning sludge from garment washing effluent treatment plants. It has a minimum solid content of 89% and a stated two-year shelf life when stored as directed. The featured supply format is a 750 kg net big bag.
A garment washing ETP may combine sludge from coagulation, flotation and biological treatment. Fabric fibers, finishing chemicals and detergents can vary by customer order and shift. Stable polymer preparation and controlled sludge blending are therefore as important as the nominal product specification.
Blufloc CPAM is used to evaluate whether cationic conditioning can improve aggregation and water release before thickening or dewatering. The selected charge and molecular weight should reflect the actual blend entering the machine. Minimum solid content supports product quality control, but it does not define the optimum plant dosage.
Condition combined ETP sludge using a grade matched to its composition.
Support consistent powder feeding in suitable bulk make-up systems.
Provide a documented minimum solid content for purchasing comparisons.
Allow performance checks across garment washing production cycles.

Molecular weight and charge ranges describe the product family. Confirm the selected grade and current batch specification with Bluwat. The pH of a 1% product solution is a test parameter, not the required plant operating pH.
Identify which ETP sludge streams enter the conditioning tank and whether their proportions change during the day. Prepare the CPAM solution separately, verify complete dissolution and meter it to the mixed sludge feed. Compare grades at equivalent product dosage and dry-solids loading. Confirm the selected condition during both regular production and cleaning-related load changes.
Select charge by the response of the real sludge rather than by the garment industry label alone. A chemically dominated sludge may need a different grade from a biological sludge. For big-bag use, confirm that the unloading station, dry feeder and make-up capacity suit the site consumption. Keep the unopened powder dry; shelf life does not describe the usable life of a prepared solution.
Track conditioned-sludge drainage, solids capture, cake dry solids and total polymer consumption per dry tonne. Add operating observations such as screen wash demand, sludge bridging and downtime. Compare total operating cost against a baseline with similar feed characteristics.
Prepare a 0.1–0.5% solution by mass using clean water. Add powder gradually to moving water to avoid lumps. Allow around one hour for dissolution, adjusting for grade, water quality and temperature. The TDS gives 200–400 rpm as a mixing reference; adapt mixing to the actual tank and impeller. Avoid unnecessary high shear after dissolution. A 0.1% solution contains 1 kg of product per 1,000 kg of final solution. Select the treatment dose separately through controlled trials.
Featured packaging is a 750 kg net big bag. Store the dry product sealed at 0–35 °C, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. The stated shelf life is two years under specified storage conditions. Reseal opened packaging and follow the current SDS for handling and spill cleanup.
No. Different charge levels and molecular weights can share this solid-content specification.
Possibly, but it must be tested across the actual sludge variability. A single production sample may be insufficient.
No. It applies to correctly stored dry product. Manage prepared solution age according to grade-specific guidance and site conditions.
When consumption, unloading equipment and moisture control allow the powder to be handled and used reliably.
