Blufloc NPAM is a low-charge polyacrylamide family with an ionic degree range of 0–5%. Evaluation for direct fruit juice clarification requires prior confirmation of a specific grade and its permitted use. General industrial NPAM specifications do not establish food process suitability.
Fruit juice haze may involve pulp fines, pectin, proteins and other components that vary by fruit and processing method. Clarification can involve enzymes, physical separation, filtration or approved processing aids. A general flocculation response does not show that a polymer is suitable for a beverage production process.
Bluwat should first distinguish direct juice treatment from fruit-processing wastewater clarification. For a proposed juice application, technical screening proceeds only after the grade's identity and intended-use evidence have been confirmed. If these cannot be supported, the appropriate discussion is an approved alternative or a separate wastewater treatment duty.
Define the low-charge polymer family being considered for assessment.
Separate direct juice processing from wastewater clarification requirements.
Compare any supported grade with the existing clarification method.
Include beverage quality and filtration response in the evaluation criteria.

Molecular weight and charge ranges describe the product family. Confirm the selected grade and current batch specification with Bluwat. The pH of a 1% product solution is a test parameter, not the required plant operating pH.
Identify the fruit, juice stage, desired haze removal and existing enzyme or filtration treatment. Review whether the exact polymer grade is permitted for that use in the target market before direct juice testing. For any supported evaluation, use representative process conditions and compare the clarified product with the normal process. Keep wastewater trials separate from food production trials.
The 0–5% ionic degree range describes the NPAM family and does not guarantee that every grade has zero charge. Composition matters in both technical and use reviews. Do not transfer a sugar-process authorization to fruit juice by analogy. The selected clarification method must also preserve the product characteristics required by the juice manufacturer.
Where a direct-use evaluation is supported, assess turbidity, suspended matter, filterability and the juice quality criteria established by the producer. For wastewater, measure solids removal and the remaining treatment load. Results from one duty should not be presented as evidence for the other.
Prepare a 0.1–0.5% solution by mass using clean water. Add powder gradually to moving water to avoid lumps. Allow around one hour for dissolution, adjusting for grade, water quality and temperature. The TDS gives 200–400 rpm as a mixing reference; adapt mixing to the actual tank and impeller. Avoid unnecessary high shear after dissolution. A 0.1% solution contains 1 kg of product per 1,000 kg of final solution. Select the treatment dose separately through controlled trials.
Featured packaging is a 25 kg kraft paper bag with an inner plastic liner. Store the dry product sealed at 0–35 °C, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. The stated shelf life is two years under specified storage conditions. Reseal opened packaging and follow the current SDS for handling and spill cleanup.
No. A specific grade and its permitted direct-use application must be confirmed before food process use.
No. Charge is one material property and does not establish the suitability of a processing aid.
Do not assume that permissions or operating conditions transfer between different food applications.
Identify that as a separate application. Bluwat can discuss polymer screening for suspended-solids separation in the wastewater system.
Bluwat Chemicals is a China-based manufacturer and exporter of water treatment chemicals and functional polymers. Our business began in 2000, the company was formally established in 2002, and our Yixing factory began production in 2004. Our portfolio includes Blufloc PAM powder and emulsions, BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent, PAC, PolyDADMAC, Polyamine and ACH. We help customers compare suitable products through wastewater characterization and application testing.
ISO 9001 concerns manufacturer quality management. Confirm grade-specific suitability for any direct food process or food and feed recovery use.
Describe the fruit, exact process stream, intended market and required documentation to Bluwat so the correct clarification technology and evaluation scope can be established.
