Blufloc CPAM can be evaluated for flocculation and sludge conditioning in meat-processing wastewater treatment. The supplied polymer has a maximum residual monomer specification of 0.05%. Grade selection depends on fats, proteins, suspended solids and the planned flotation or dewatering duty.
Meat-processing wastewater may contain suspended tissue, fats, proteins and variable production losses. Coarse screening, equalization and appropriate primary treatment establish the conditions for polymer use. Emulsified fat and fine organic material may require suitable coagulation before a useful flocculation response develops.
A compatible CPAM grade can be tested as part of a flotation sequence or for conditioning the resulting sludge before dewatering. These are related but different duties and may require different grades. The residual monomer limit is a product quality parameter; it does not establish food contact suitability, disinfection or final discharge quality.
Support evaluation of organic-solids flocculation in a suitable treatment sequence.
Compare flotation performance separately from sludge dewatering requirements.
Provide a stated maximum residual monomer specification.
Allow bulk supply for plants with suitable preparation and handling systems.

Molecular weight and charge ranges describe the product family. Confirm the selected grade and current batch specification with Bluwat. The pH of a 1% product solution is a test parameter, not the required plant operating pH.
Define whether the immediate objective is primary flotation or sludge dewatering. For flotation, screen and equalize the wastewater, establish coagulant and pH conditions where required, then test CPAM before flotation. For sludge conditioning, collect representative flotation or biological sludge and run a separate dewatering comparison. Prepare the polymer solution independently in both cases.
Assess fat loading, temperature, solids concentration and cleaning-related variability. Avoid applying a dewatering optimum directly to a dissolved air flotation unit. In flotation trials, include floated sludge consistency and treated-water quality; in dewatering trials, include drainage and cake performance. Dose and charge must be confirmed for the chosen duty.
Measure suspended solids, relevant oil-and-grease parameters and flotation solids capture for the water line. Measure cake solids and filtrate quality for dewatering. Test dissolved organic load and microbial requirements separately where they affect the treatment target; visible clarification does not verify them.
Prepare a 0.1–0.5% solution by mass using clean water. Add powder gradually to moving water to avoid lumps. Allow around one hour for dissolution, adjusting for grade, water quality and temperature. The TDS gives 200–400 rpm as a mixing reference; adapt mixing to the actual tank and impeller. Avoid unnecessary high shear after dissolution. A 0.1% solution contains 1 kg of product per 1,000 kg of final solution. Select the treatment dose separately through controlled trials.
Featured packaging is a 750 kg net big bag. Store the dry product sealed at 0–35 °C, protected from moisture and direct sunlight. The stated shelf life is two years under specified storage conditions. Reseal opened packaging and follow the current SDS for handling and spill cleanup.
A compatible grade may support floc formation, but its performance must be checked with the actual coagulation and flotation conditions.
Not necessarily. Screen the two duties separately and select on their different performance criteria.
No. This page addresses wastewater treatment and does not establish direct food-contact or food-process suitability.
No. Solids separation is not a substitute for the required microbial control or disinfection assessment.
