Blufloc APAM has a specified pH of 6–8 in a 1% aqueous solution and is available for reservoir-specific mobility-control screening. The relevant selection target is polymer-solution behavior under injection and reservoir conditions, rather than the product-solution pH alone. The featured packaging is a 25 kg kraft paper bag.
An unfavorable water-to-oil mobility relationship can allow the injected water to move through a reservoir inefficiently. Polymer mobility control aims to modify the aqueous-phase viscosity to suit the displacement design. The required viscosity depends on oil properties, relative permeability, reservoir structure and injection limitations.
Bluwat APAM candidates should be compared at explicitly stated concentration, brine composition, temperature and shear conditions. A viscosity value without those conditions is not a reliable basis for grade selection. The general family specification does not establish that a particular candidate will deliver the desired reservoir mobility ratio.
Candidate-grade screening can build a concentration-to-viscosity relationship in the intended injection water.
The powder format supports controlled laboratory preparation and repeatable sample comparison.
A defined mobility target helps evaluate polymer cost together with injection and stability requirements.

Molecular weight and anionic degree are family ranges, not a single grade specification. Confirm the selected grade and agreed supply criteria before ordering. ISO 9001 refers to the manufacturer’s quality management system, not a guarantee of application performance.
Share oil viscosity at reservoir conditions, injection-water analysis, reservoir temperature and the proposed displacement assumptions. Include permeability information and operating pressure limits so the polymer choice can be assessed against injectivity as well as thickening efficiency.
Measure a rheological profile instead of relying on a single ambient-water viscosity number. Test the impact of dilution, salinity, aging and mechanical handling. Use the result in the project's reservoir assessment; a thicker solution is useful only if its behavior remains compatible with the planned injection process.
Define the target aqueous-phase viscosity and the measurement conditions used in the mobility assessment.
Prepare concentration series for selected APAM grades using the intended injection water.
Measure viscosity across relevant shear conditions and after representative thermal and mechanical exposure.
Combine these results with filtration, injectivity and reservoir-core testing before choosing a field formulation.
Use clean, compatible make-up water and add the powder gradually into an established mixing flow. Avoid dumping powder in one location, which can create lumps with dry cores. The TDS gives 0.1–0.5% as general solution-preparation guidance. If specified on an as-supplied powder mass basis, this corresponds to 1–5 kg of powder per 1,000 kg of final solution; agree the concentration basis for the project.
Allow approximately one hour of agitation as a starting reference, then confirm complete hydration. Water quality, temperature, grade and equipment affect the required time. The TDS’s 200–400 rpm reference is equipment dependent and should not be scaled to a different tank solely by rpm. Avoid severe shear after hydration. Determine the final treatment dosage through the application tests described above.
The featured packaging is a 25 kg kraft paper bag with an inner plastic liner. The TDS also lists 25 kg kraft paper or PE bags and 750 kg net big bags. Store powder dry, protected from direct sunlight and at 0–35°C. Keep opened packaging tightly closed. Consult the current SDS for handling, spill control and personal protection.
Bluwat Chemicals is a China-based manufacturer and exporter of water treatment chemicals and functional polymers. Our business began in 2000, Bluwat was formally established in 2002, and our Yixing factory began production in 2004. We operate three production bases, including Yixing and Huaibei, and have supplied a cumulative 800,000 tonnes of products to customers in around 100 countries and regions. Our portfolio includes BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent, PAM powder and emulsions, PolyDADMAC, Polyamine, PAC, Ferric Sulphate and ACH.
Our production and export background supports technical communication and supply planning for overseas industrial buyers.
We help customers compare wastewater or process conditions, treatment objectives and suitable chemical combinations before choosing a product.
Our coagulants, flocculants and specialty chemicals support projects in oil and gas, mining, textiles, pulp and paper, and municipal water treatment.
Our ISO 9001 quality management system and agreed grade specifications provide a basis for purchasing discussions. Application performance is verified through the relevant trials.
No. It is the measured pH of a 1% product solution. Reservoir-fluid compatibility and any pH adjustment need a separate project-specific assessment.
No. The desired mobility must be balanced against injection pressure, polymer retention, handling and economics.
No. Recovery response depends on reservoir characteristics, injection strategy and field performance. Laboratory and pilot results are needed to assess the likely outcome.
